I, Sandy (the cowgirl) have had a camera in hand from a very young age, mainly photographing Hereford cattle and horses on my family ranch in western North Dakota. As a 4-H project, I won numerous state and national awards in photography. I remember selling one of my horses in the 1970’s to buy my first 35mm Canon Camera.
For the last 40 years, I have owned and operated Classic Leather Designs. My art focus has been designing and creating high end western leather goods.
In 2018 I married Freeman Crawford (the scout). Freeman recognized my love for photography and has encouraged and supported me to pursue my passion. Now, together we travel to photograph horses, cattle and wildlife across the west, while still maintaining an ever-changing leather business.
Freeman’s gift with woodworking has provided a unique opportunity to create perfect frames to enhance my photography. We are also using my photography in some of our furniture as well as leather pillows. Most of these pieces you will find on our sister site, www.ClassicLeatherDesigns.com
Our lives are devoted to sharing Almighty God’s incredible creations and using our gifts fully to His glory. We look forward everyday to journeying wherever He leads us. Thanks for coming along on the adventures of the cowgirl and the scout. We are humbly honored for you to hang any of this work in your home.
